To gain approval of an extension to Quail Rise, one of the largest expansions to an existing urban area in the Wakatipu basin, which required obtaining a variation to the district plan and zone approval.
Outcome
Working closely with surveying company Clarke Fortune McDonald & Associates, vivian+espie helped convince the council that approving the zone extension was appropriate and were successful in getting resource consent approval for extended parts of the zone.
vivian+espie managed this large subdivision project through establishing and maintaining good relationships with other consultants in the area enabling a smoother process for the client.
