Carey Vivian and Ben Espie established vivian+espie Limited in October 2004, combining both their skills and experience in Landscape Planning and Resource Management to provide a unique and specialised consultancy to clients, focusing on environmental court cases and assisting clients with environmental planning of rural developments.
Both started their careers in Queenstown after completing University degrees, Carey a Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning (Hons) from Massey University and Ben a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) from Canterbury and Lincoln Universities.
Carey joined the Queenstown Lakes District Council as a Policy Planner in 1996, advancing to report on rural subdivision and development issues for the District Plan Review, while Ben joined Civic Corporation Limited, rising to the role of Principal: Landscape Architecture.
Their respective backgrounds bring a wealth of invaluable knowledge and credibility to their private practice. |
